Application Security Overview

Security configuration for the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration system is managed within the Oracle Insurance Rules Workbench. This functionality enables administrators to control user visibility and actions across companies, plans, transactions, and activities.

Application Security in Security Folder

Accessing Application Security

To access the application security in Oracle Insurance Rules Workbench, perform the following steps:

  1. In the Navigation Explorer (left panel), locate the Security folder.

  2. Click the Security folder to expand its contents.

  3. Click the Application Security folder to display its options. The Application Security section contains two main areas:

    • Users

    • Security Groups

Within the Security Groups, security for Oracle Insurance Policy Administration can be configured at four distinct levels - Company, Inquiry, Plan, and Transaction.

Each level allows administrators to define user access to resources such as pages, fields, masks, and actions.
